Dear Constable Geoff

I want to thank you for coming to Room 10, to talk about how hard it was for you to get to where you are today.

I found it really interesting when you spoke about how you regretted not learning in school and how it affected your life. I learnt that you should always have a plan, work towards achieving your goals and achieve them.

Yours sincerely

Dear Constable Andrew

I am writing to say thank you for coming to Glenbrae School, to talk about your career and what you have gone through to get to where you are today.

I found it really interesting when you talked about peer pressure you went through as a child. I learnt that it’s better to plan your future while you’re young.

You have inspired me to work harder to achieve my goals. Thank you again for your time.

Yours sincerely

Dear Mrs Ripata

I want to thank you for talking to us about what you had to do to become a teacher and how hard you had to work to get your well paying job.

What I found interesting about your talk was how hard your family worked to support you through school and university. I learnt that even if you come from an unwealthy family it doesn’t mean you can give up on your dreams and that you can change the fact that your family is poor just by working hard , earning more and settling in better..

Yours sincerely

What I found interesting about your talk was how you got into your teaching career. I learnt that if you don’t know what you want to become, before you leave school, you can always ask your teacher for suggestions.

I was inspired by your talk and I am considering a teaching career for myself.

Dear Mr. Dunn

I want to say thank you for coming to Glenbrae School to talk about the opportunities your school has to offer, and the experiences we would have if we came to Tamaki College.

What I found really interesting about your talk was how much you love your school and no matter what people said you still stood up for the school. I would like to say thank you for bringing our ex students to talk to us about their experiences at Tamaki college so far. If I don’t get into McAuley High, Tamaki college will be my second choice.

Yours sincerely

Dear Mr Tamati

I am writing to say thank you for taking time out of your busy day to come and talk to us about your career choice as a quantity surveyor.

What I found interesting about your talk was that you need to know a lot when you become a quantity surveyor. I learnt that your job pays 40k. I also learnt a lot about the construction industry and the job opportunities in it for us.

You gave me some ideas about what career to choose when I grow up.

Yours sincerely

Dear Mrs Dagmar

I want to say thank you for coming to Glenbrae school to talk to us about how you got into your art career.

What I found interesting about your talk was that you didn’t listen to your parents but followed your heart. I learnt that there are different types of art like music, acting, portraits etc.

Your talk inspired some of us to take up art at university.

Once again thank you for talking to us about your career.

Yours sincerely
